Alex van Houwelingen Illustration - Art and sketchbook
A very important aspect in an illustrator's life is to grow in your profession and develop new, fresh skills and ideas every day. One way to succeed in this is to keep
a sketchbook. My sketchbook is my tool in which I experiment with different styles, techniques and media. Because I literally draw every minute of the day, my sketchbook is packed
with new ideas and little characters. Sometimes I like to paint (especially landscapes and cubism), using oilpaint. My influences are mainly William Turner and Georges Braque.
